Richard Avedon was particularly fond of the moving photographs of Martin Munkac, and studied photography in the early 1940s at the famous Design Laboratory sponsored by Alexei Brodovich, art director of Harper's Bazaar at the time. . After that, on his recommendation, he worked as a staff photographer for Harper's Bazaar magazine from 1946 to 1965. Blessed with excellent colleagues, Avedon became a sensation with his innovative fashion photography that incorporated documentary, collage and portraiture techniques.
