High grade dark blue/ black flint no heat treat needed since this is some of the highest grade flintknapping material. But a heat treated will make a difference making the flakes go farther when your pressure flaking making razor sharp and thin arrowheads. this blue/ black Georgetown comes in veins and I only get about 5 thousand pound a year.which usually Sell out in a couple of weeks to months.
