This is an original press photo. Japanese concentrations were reported in the Legaspi area of the Island of Luzon in the Philippines yesterday, about 200 miles southeast of Manila near the southernmost tip of the island. This is a picturesque sector of the Philippines and part of it is shown above, the Mayon volcano towering in the background of the photograph. The port of Legaspi is the major harbor on the Pacific side of Luzon.Photo measures 9.25 x 7.25inches. Photo is dated 12-13-1941.
