Inheriting the high-quality sound technology of the flagship model of Technics stereo inside headphones, the EAH-TZ700, we pursue powerful and accurate sound. Vividly reproduces deep low frequencies to delicate high frequencies, and depicts a spacious space that conveys even the atmosphere of the place.
■High sound quality with a 10mm diameter aluminum diaphragm for the driver
Equipped with a 10mm diameter driver with an aluminum diaphragm and free edge structure similar to the driver installed in the EAH-TZ700.
The large-diameter 10mm driver fully drives the highly rigid aluminum diaphragm, and the free edge structure supports the periphery of the diaphragm with a soft edge, which has good low-frequency characteristics, to achieve detailed reproduction and a wide sound field without coloration over a wide frequency range.
■ Acoustic control chamber that achieves natural and immersive high-quality sound with a unique acoustic structure
A dedicated acoustic space is provided at the rear end of the driver to precisely control the air flow around the driver. The band balance of the low and vocal ranges is adjusted to reproduce powerful low ranges and realistic vocals.
■ Harmonizer that suppresses the disturbance of the frequency characteristics of the high range and achieves natural sound quality
By appropriately adjusting the space in front of the driver, the high range characteristics are improved. By suppressing the disturbance of the frequency characteristics of the high range above 5kHz, an ideal band balance is achieved and natural high tones are reproduced.
■ Direct mode that increases the purity of sound
The newly adopted direct mode makes the equalizer circuit that changes the tone simpler in operation, increasing the purity of the sound, especially in the flat characteristics, and reproducing a sound that is more faithful to the original sound.

■Dual hybrid noise canceling, industry-leading noise canceling performance (※1)
Equipped with our unique dual hybrid noise canceling. The feedforward method uses high-order filters to perform precise digital calculations. The feedback method has improved accuracy through analog control with low latency.
The combination of two methods and digital and analog control achieves industry-leading (※1) noise canceling performance. In addition, the EAH-AZ80 has improved performance of the outer feedforward microphone, further improving the reduction of ambient noise.

■Two ambient modes to choose from depending on the usage situation
Not only does it achieve excellent noise canceling performance, it also takes into consideration the safety and convenience of the user. Equipped with an ambient (external sound capture) mode that allows you to capture surrounding sounds while out and about, announcements on the train, and the voices of people around you while wearing the earphones.
The EAH-AZ80 has two modes. With the newly improved filter performance, high-frequency sounds are now even easier to hear.

A mode that picks up surrounding sounds as before. You can check the surrounding sounds while wearing the earphones, such as while walking outside.
-Attention mode
A mode that pauses the music and captures surrounding sounds, such as conversations and announcements, focusing on people's voices. You can check the surrounding announcements while wearing the earphones, such as while commuting.
Excellent design and fit.
■Concha fit shape, a form that fits comfortably in the ear
General in-ear earphones are held in place by the contact between the earpiece inserted into the ear canal and the housing part around the ear. For this reason, wearing them for long periods of time can cause ear pain.
In addition to the earpieces holding the ears in place, the EAH-AZ80 uses a concha fit shape that fits the concha (ear concha), the depression around the ear canal. In pursuit of an excellent fit, we have made over 300 prototype shapes and conducted numerous wearing tests to verify the shape, which places less strain on the ears and provides a more stable fit.
■Earpieces available in seven sizes
The earpieces are made of silicone and are circular. By changing the hardness of the silicone at the periphery and center, we have achieved both a good fit and sound insulation. To better fit people with small ears, we have prepared two different heights for the XS and S sizes. A total of seven types of earpieces are included, including M/L/XL.

Equipped with a unique call voice processing technology that combines beamforming technology and voice analysis technology. By distinguishing between the surrounding noise and the speaker's voice during a call and reducing noise, we have achieved a comfortable call.
Equipped with a highly sensitive speech detection microphone, in windy places, the voice of the speech detection microphone is automatically superimposed on the voice signal, transmitting clearer voice and powerfully blocking unpleasant sounds.
In addition, the speech voice analysis algorithm has been improved. Noise other than the speaking voice is further suppressed, and a clear voice without a muffled feeling is delivered to the other party. It automatically switches according to the surrounding noise, so no operation is required. You can have a comfortable call at any time.
