Welcome to Painted Pooches! My name is Amanda Garland Thomas, Ed.D., and I've enjoyed painting pet portraits, etc. for over 15 years now. My mom at HopScotch Morgan Farm is also part of the action at Painted Pooches so we all contribute to the designs you see here. Our work has been exhibited at Equitana in Kentucky, Equine Affair in Massachusetts, the Munson Williams Art Festival in New York, finalist in the 2005 and 2007 AKC/Eukanuba Poster Competition, and many dog shows and juried arts & crafts exhibits along the east coast. We are lucky to have friends who are Newfoundlands, Scottish Terriers (Rock Castle), and Morgan horses (HopScotch) but we love all types and species.
About the artist: My original artwork has been exhibited at Equitana in Kentucky, Equine Affair in Massachusetts, the Munson Williams Art Festival in New York. We were also finalists in both the 2005 and 2007 AKC/Eukanuba National Championship commemorative art poster competition with submissions from dog artists from all over the world.
