1. Choose Your Bait
   Use peanut butter, chocolate, oats, or sunflower seeds. Place a small amount behind the trigger plate inside the trap.

2. Open and Set the Trap

   • Lift the spring-loaded door and lock it into the open position.

   • Make sure the bait is in place and not blocking the plate mechanism.

   • Place the trap along a wall, near rodent droppings, or where you’ve seen activity — garages, kitchens, pantries, basements, etc.

   • For best results, avoid high-traffic areas and keep it flush against a wall.

3. Catch & Monitor
   When a rodent enters and steps on the trigger plate, the door will close automatically behind it.

   • Most catches happen within 10 minutes to 48 hours, depending on bait, location, and rodent activity.

   • The transparent acrylic body allows you to check if anything’s been caught without opening the trap.

4. Humane Release
   Take the trap at least 100 feet from your home — ideally to a wooded area or open field.

   • Open the back door by sliding or popping it out (depending on model), and allow the rodent to exit safely.

5. Clean & Reuse

   • Remove the rear door and wash the trap using mild soap and warm water.

   • Dry thoroughly before re-baiting and setting again.
