Replacement Paddock gearbox with 35mm backset, to suit Yale Lockmaster and Mila Master multipoint door locks. Offers single, and dual-spindle options, plus choice of latch with deadbolt, or latch with centre hook. British-built, with a reversible latch for use on left and right-handed doors.
Designed with 92PZ single-spindle option, for use with lever/lever handles, plus 92/62PZ offset dual-spindle for lever/pad. Dual-spindle option features a 'snib' facility to prevent accidental lock outs.

How to choose the right gearbox
You should choose a gearbox that works with your handle spindle type, and with a matching backset size. Backset size is the measurement from the centre of the spindle/euro cylinder hole to the front of the edge of the door faceplate that the gearbox sits behind. Spindle type refers to the spindle[s] of the handles that will engage with the gearbox. Spindle options include, single, and dual for offset handles.
Not suitable as a replacement for the Lockmaster 21 centre case gearbox.

Fitting a Yale Lockmaster (Paddock) 35mm centre case gearbox to a multipoint locking mechanism on a PVCu or aluminium door is a straight forward process, and requires only basic tools.
Step 1: Remove the door handles
- Remove fixing screws from the internal handle.
- Pull handles apart, ensuring the spindle is removed carefully.
Step 3: Remove the old centre case
- Remove the screws securing the multipoint lock mechanism on the edge of the door.
- Carefully slide the entire lock strip out of the door edge.
- Remove screws securing the centre case to the lock strip.
- Detach the old centre case, ensuring not to damage the rest of the mechanism.
Step 4: Inspect and measure
- Compare dimensions of the new centre case against the old one to ensure compatibility.
- Measure the backset and PZ (distance between centre of spindle hole and centre of the euro cylinder barrel) to confirm suitability.
Step 5: Fit the new centre case
- Align the centre case with the lock strip, ensuring the hooks, rollers, or deadbolts line up correctly.
- Secure the centre case to the lock strip using the original screws.
Step 6: Reinstall the multipoint lock
- Slide the lock strip (with the new centre case installed) back into the door edge.
- Align with screw holes and secure to door using original screws.
