How To Replace an Alternator:
Start by disconnecting the battery. There may be several wires or just one on the alternator, but rest assured that one of the wires is hot. If you don't disconnect the battery, you'll most likely ground a live wire in the process.
Now that the battery is out of the way, disconnect the wires on the back of the alternator.
This is the hard part of alternator replacement: removing the belt from the pulley. There is a tensioner pulley somewhere on your vehicle. You need to move it enough to slide the belt off the pulley.
Once the belt is off, simply remove all of the bolts attaching the alternator to the bracket, and you'll be good to go.
Inspect the replacement unit before reassembly and make sure it fits your car properly.
To complete the project, simply reverse the disassembly steps, paying careful attention to the belt routing and tensioner pulley.
Note: Before purchasing, in order not to waste your time and bring a bad shopping experience, please carefully check whether your model is on the model list before purchasing.
