Features:
1. Check the charging function: connect the test equipment, start the engine and turn off the headlights, radio, etc.. In this case, the green signal light must be on. If there is no or very little voltage to the generator, the red signal lamp will start to glow. Please check that the tester is connected correctly. Otherwise, please contact a workshop.
2. Check the charge level: Turn on the headlights for 1-2 minutes and then turn them off again. Remove the battery clamps from the battery and wait about 10 minutes before clamping . Put on the battery tester. The signal light will glow to indicate "FULL", HALF-FULL" or "VERY LOW CHARGE" depending on the state of the charged battery.
3. Battery start test: Fully charge the battery, remove the ignition coil connection, and then test. Turn ignition on or start vehicle with key. The engine will not start (ignition interrupted). When the green LED signal "BATTERY OK" lights up, the battery is in a normal state of charge.
4. Battery load test: Toggle the mode selector switch to the load test end, link the battery tester with the car and then start the engine to observe the LED status:
FULL: 5-6 LEDs are on.
MID: 4-3 LEDs are on.
Low: 2-1 LEDs are on, if no LEDs are on it means the battery capacity is very low, please charge or replace the battery.
NOTE: If the battery is in bad condition, the battery tester's signal light "BATTERYOK" will not light up.
WARNING: Use the battery tester in a safe area and follow the instructions. Park the vehicle in a safe area before testing.
