The NIKKOR Z 28-400mm f/4-8 VR is the first all-in-one zoom lens in its class*2 with an overall length of approximately 141.5mm*1. It supports a wide range of focal lengths from 28mm wide-angle to 400mm super-telephoto, and also offers excellent close-up shooting performance, making it possible to shoot in a variety of scenes. Covers a wide focal length range from 28mm wide angle to 400mm super-telephoto. Even at the telephoto end of the 400mm focal length range, the lens realistically and impressively captures the details of distant subjects, including their textures and expressions. This lens is useful when you want to capture a wide-angle view of a scene, or when you want to capture a large image of your favorite athlete in sports photography, or in any other situation where you want to shoot at a variety of focal lengths.

The NIKKOR Z 28-400mm f/4-8 VR has a high magnification range from 28mm at the wide-angle end to 400mm at the telephoto end, yet weighs only 725g. Its compact and lightweight design allows for easy portability, making it easy to carry in a bag or backpack. It is also easy to move around lightly when traveling or at theme parks, where luggage can be cumbersome, and when you encounter a shutter release opportunity, you can quickly remove it from your bag and comfortably take the shot.

At the wide-angle end (28mm), the maximum magnification is 0.35x and the minimum focusing distance is 0.2m*. Even when sitting on a chair, you can capture impressive table photos with large images of sweets and other items. The minimum focusing distance at the telephoto end is 1.2 m. By shooting a subject at close range, you can obtain a large background blur. When shooting close-ups with the lens hood attached, be careful not to let the lens hood hit the subject.
