Background of “Crosspoint” Development

The “Crosspoint” fountain pen was developed by Nobuyoshi Nagahara in the early 1990s as an improvement of the Nagatogi nib, based on customer requests for a fountain pen that was thick and large enough to write on Japanese paper, and was first released to the public in 1996 as a commemorative fountain pen for the 85th anniversary of Sailor Fountain Pens.
