A Rare Enamel Southern Suburbs Magpies Jnr (QLD) Rugby League Football Club Badge, the Club first formed in 1933 and became South Logan in 2003, this Club known for is Resurrection when Coached by Wayne Bennet and had players such as Mal Meninga, Gary Belcher and Peter Jackson among others I'm estimating this badge to be circa 1970's, but could be early or slightly later, but has no makers contact on rear of Myers & Co Brisbane bringing me to the thought of the above period suggested as Myers have been making badges for 60 years, is an Enamel Badge with no protective Plastic Cover coating, is about 2.5cm or about 1" high in diameter, weighs approx.10g, may have slight rub wear, light surface marks, light surface grime and marks, slight fade or discolouration, as per photographs, which may differ slightly in colour, due to focus or exposure on camera shots, are otherwise in good condition ,does have slight wear from age, use and poor storage, is possibly in need of a detailed clean, conditioning or slight refurbishment if desired.
