Condition Continued: Scrolling through, I found a small tan spot off the bottom edge of two pages, far from the print, a few very small tan spots just off the top and bottom edge of one of the pages with photographs, and one instance of a small grayish spot over a few letters in a few words on one page, not interfering with the reading of these words. I found a little crease just above the tips of the bottom corners of four consecutive pages. I didn't see any other conspicuous creasing, no placeholder creases. There are no markings in the book. No attachments of any kind. And no one has written their name or anything else anywhere in the book.
You can see the dust jacket in the first few photos. It is in really nice shape. It's very clean. That includes the white rear cover. I don't see any tears. There is one small spot of rubbing off the top edge of the front cover just adjacent to the spine. The flaps are in very nice condition as well. No soiling and no tears. The jacket is NOT priced-clipped, not clipped at all. It will be fitted with a protective cover after the photos are scanned.

E. P. Dutton &  Company, New York, 1954. Hardcover in Dust Jacket. Written by Vyvyan Holland. Stated First Edition. From the Publisher's Note: 'Son of Oscar Wilde is essentially the autobiography of that son, Vyvyan Holland, and a biography of his brother, Cecil, and of their mother. But overshadowing their pathetic story is the imposing figure of Oscar Wilde whose birth occurred one hundred years ago (October 16, 1854).' The Appendix which runs from page 183 to the last page, 237, has five sections: A) Thirty-three letters from Oscar Wilde to Reginald Richard ('Kitten') Harding and William Welseford ('Bouncer') Ward, 1876-1878; B) Oscar Wilde: An Oxford Reminiscence, by W. W. Ward; C) Unpublished Poems in Prose told by Oscar Wilde; D) Letters from Lord Alfred Douglas; E) Stages of Public Opinion on Oscar Wilde's Work. The book has a frontispiece photograph of the author and his son, as well as five other photographs, one of Mrs. Oscar Wilde and one of Oscar Wilde at Naples, after his release from prison.
