Description:
The Blow-Off valve (BOV) is a pressure relief device on the intake tract to prevent the turbo?s compressor from going into surge. When the throttle is closed rapidly, the airflow is quickly reduced, causing flow instability and pressure fluctuations. Surge can eventually lead to thrust bearing failure due to the high loads associated with it. Blow-Off valves use a combination of manifold pressure signal and spring force to detect when the throttle is closed. When the throttle is closed rapidly, the BOV vents boost in the intake tract to atmosphere to relieve the pressure, helping to eliminate surge.

Features:
1. The pressure relief valve is installed in the intake pipe on a valve to control the pressure boost. The opening and closing of relief valve is controlled by ECU (electronic control unit).
2. ECU will be based on the turbine outlet pressure to determine the level of pressure, once the pressure exceeds the critical value, the solenoid coil will be energized or power off control, thereby opening or closing the pressure relief valve.
3. When the pressure relief valve is closed to ensure that the intake pipe has sufficient intake pressure as the basis, when the valve opens to excess gas can be discharged into the atmosphere, reducing the inlet pressure, protect the engine intake pipe.
