Dig Your Way Out is a game developed by David Simide in which you play the role of an inmate trying to escape from prison. Be the first prisoner to dig your hole. Craft tools with recycled materials, buy them with cigarettes, or blackmail them from other players, the purpose justifies the means!
The main goal is to achieve the required tunnel points (which may change depending on the number of players) that represent the progress of your tunnel.
On his turn, a player has 2 actions to choose:
Search: It records the number of search cards indicated on the location where it is located.
Move - It rolls the cube to determine where it can go.
Join a gang when he has the right accessories and get their passive buff.
Craft if he has the corresponding cards.
Playing an action card
Blackmail another prisoner (blackmail is divided into 2 stages:
Intimidation where the attacking player names the tools he wants to extort (a shovel, pick, or spoon). The targeted player can then cooperate and give it immediately to avoid fighting. Or defend yourself and start the battle.
Battle: In turn, the two players play before forming weapon cards their hand, starting with the defender. Once a player cannot or will not play a weapon card, he loses the battle.
If the defender loses, he must give the attacker the tool he asks for. If the defender does not have this card in his hand, or if the loser is the attacker, the winner selects a randomly chosen card from the loser's hand. The lose takes 1 beating.
Some actions can only be performed in certain places:
Cell block: Dig, just place a tool card (spoon, pick, or shovels from your hand on your prisoner board. You will immediately achieve the number of tunnel points indicated on the map.
Recreation area: buy and sell, the local currency is cigarettes.
Infirmary - Heal, remove 1 stroke (a player with 1 stroke cannot perform the craft action, a player with 2 strokes cannot perform..
