Generation 2 of our custom-manufactured fuel sender for the SAAB Classic 900 cars.  Plug and play, direct replacement, no modifications to the car required.  This listing is for the "Early" model version for the 1983-1988 cars to replace the earlier, metal-top VDO brand sender, Saab part number 9361965.

Features and Specifications:
   - All new sender which replicates the fitment and function of the OEM senders.  
   - 304 Stainless Steel construction
   - Simple and durable reed switch electronics with NBR permanent magnet float being the only moving part.  
       Note:  reed switch sensors produce a "stair stepped" signal, rather than the continuous sweep on the gauge that the 
       OEM sender offers.  Knowing this, we've spec'd the steps at a much finer range than normal, 7mm vs the typical 21mm fuel
       level reading. 
   - 50mm diameter "damping cylinder" to minimize needle 'bounce'.  This is critical as our fuel tanks are NOT baffled.
   - Includes low-level alarm for the instrument panel warning light, just like Saab specified.
   - Viton gasket custom cut for us by Jay Turner Company in New Mexico, USA.
   - 3D-printed, 3-spade connector housing by Modern Classic Saab in Connecticut, USA.
