Installation:
☆Note 1: Be sure to replace accessories with new ones.
The turbocharger may be damaged due to dirt or clogging of the oil filter, oil drain pipe, inlet pipe, union bolt, and washers.
☆Note 2: The turbocharger may be damaged due to foreign matter being mixed in.
Check that there is no foreign matter or oil inside the air cleaner, intake pipe, and intake/exhaust manifold.
☆Note 3: Be sure to use engine oil of the grade and viscosity specified by the manufacturer.
Replace the engine oil several times until there is no foreign matter in it. Be sure to check the engine oil level again after installation.
☆Note 4: Do not use liquid packing at the turbo oil inlet and outlet.
☆Note 5: To prevent seizure, do not drive or rev the engine immediately after starting the engine.
Keep the engine idling for about 10 minutes until the oil is fully filled.
☆Note 6: After installation, do not clean the engine with a flushing agent.
This may cause sludge to flow in.
The following symptoms do not indicate a fault with the turbo.
☆White smoke immediately after installing the turbo
Oil and rust-preventive oil are attached to the turbocharger during assembly. White smoke may be emitted for a while after installation, but once the turbo is heated during driving, the oil will burn and the white smoke will stop.
