An essential tool for your Myford Super 7, ML7 and 254 lathe.

This is a compelling alternative to a traditional DRO system or a lathe bed dial clamp (see my other items). It does not require any installation and clamps directly to the bed. The scale is fitted with neodymium magnetic anvils on both ends allowing you to position either side of the saddle. 

Allows you to monitor the travel of your lathe carriage up to 300mm per stroke. Longer moves can be made by positioning and zeroing  the scale at the targeted stop position. Longer stroke scales are available as a special order. Please contact me. 

The thumb knob allows quick and easy application and release of clamping force. This greatly facilitates repositioning the indicator on long, multiple step carriage travels.

It rigidly clamps to the bed way. A robust construction designed to last and provide years of repeatable results.
