A home to a suite of in-house developed calibers and versatile designs, Oris's classic Artelier collection embodies its commitment to heritage and innovation. This Artelier Calibre 111 features a 43 mm multi-piece stainless steel case that holds a sunray anthracite dial under a double-domed sapphire crystal. It has silver-tone and luminescent alpha hands with applied indices and Arabic numerals at the 6 and 12 o'clock positions as hour markers. A non-linear power reserve indicator is situated at the 3 o'clock position adjacent to the large fluted crown. Located at the 9 o'clock position is a date window that cuts into the subseconds track. Fitted with a stainless steel bracelet on a security folding clasp. Showcased through the exhibition caseback is the Oris Calibre 111, a Swiss manual winding movement beating at 21,600 vibrations per hour, generating an impressive 240 hours (10 days) of power reserve and is water-resistant up to 30 meters/100 feet.

Oris was founded by Paul Cattin and Georges Christian in the Swiss town of Hölstein. They bought the recently closed Lohner & Co watch factory, and on June 1, 1904 the two men entered into a contract with the local mayor. They named their new watch company Oris, after a nearby brook.
