Per far sì che ciò accada, Marcus Miller e Sire sono stati in missione per diversi anni al fine di costruire un basso della migliore qualità ad un prezzo mai sentito, e lo rendono accessibile a chiunque. Il risultato è una nuova linea di modelli di bassi Marcus Miller dal suono eccezionale, dall'aspetto fantastico e dall'alta qualità ma ad un prezzo straordinariamente basso. I Pickup Jazz Bass di alta qualità sono realizzati con bobina smaltata USA per una risoluzione più elevata ed un suono più nitido. Ciò che solo gli strumenti custon shop possono ottenere, ora è sul Sire 2nd Gen: i bordi arrotondati della tastiera offriranno agli utenti una presa più sicura e più naturale rispetto ad altre tastiere. E' dotato di un preamplificatore con EQ 3-bande di prima qualità, recentemente sviluppato per questa serie, al fine di soddisfare le esigenze di versatilità di Marcus Miller e per coprire vari stili musicali. Infine sono dotati di un nuovo ponte in metallo massiccio. Questo ponte è stato appositamente progettato e realizzato su richiesta di Marcus Miller.

The result is a new line of Marcus Miller bass models with exceptional sound, fantastic appearance and high quality but at an extraordinarily low price. High-quality Jazz Bass Pickups are made with USA enameled coil for a higher resolution and a sharper sound. What only custon shop tools can achieve, is now on the Sire 2nd Gen: the rounded edges of the keyboard will offer users a safer and more natural grip than other keyboards. It is equipped with a preamplifier with premium 3-band EQ, recently developed for this series, in order to meet Marcus Miller's versatility needs and to cover various musical styles. Finally, they are equipped with a new solid metal bridge. This bridge was specially designed and built at the request of Marcus Miller.
