Sweet Mazzard Cherry Tree Seeds
(Prunus avium)
Sweet Cherry, (Prunus avium), Species of Sherry is Cultivated for it's Sweet, Edible Fruits. Sweet Cherry Trees are Large and Rather Upright, Growing to Height of up to 36 Feet. The Trees are Deciduous and Bear Simple, Toothed Leaves alternately along the Stems that have a Brilliant Display of Color in the Fall, and in the Spring, Gorgeous Showy White Flower Clusters having Five Petals and Numerous Stamens, which Makes the Sweet Cherry Great for Fruit & Ornamental to Any Landscape.

Soil: Well-drained, fertile, loamy, and moist soil with good drainage
Soil pH: Prefers acidic conditions but can tolerate a wide range of pH levels

Sweet Cherry Germination:
1) Soak in water for 12 hours.
2) Place seeds inside of a zip lock bag filled with moist vermiculite, and place in the fridge for 90 day cold stratification.
3) Plant seeds 1/4" deep in a well mixed and well draining potting soil. Mixing 10-15% sand in is optimal.
4) Keep soil at 75 degrees F. & slightly moist in a well lit area, but not direct sunlight.
5) Expect germination in 2-3 weeks.
Germinación de cerezas dulces:
1) Remojar en agua durante 12 horas.
2) Colocar las semillas dentro de una bolsa con cierre hermético llena de vermiculita húmeda y colocar en el refrigerador durante 90 días para que se estratifiquen en frío.
3) Plante las semillas a 1/4" de profundidad en una tierra para macetas bien mezclada y con buen drenaje. Lo óptimo es mezclar entre un 10 y un 15 % de arena.
4) Mantener la tierra a 75 grados F y ligeramente húmeda en un área bien iluminada, pero sin luz solar directa.
5) Espere la germinación en 2 o 3 semanas.
