This fitting attaches to a windsurf boom and is roped to the clew of the sail giving a 6:1 advantage. It has a clever multi-purchase system designed around two rollers and a becket. Takes a line between three and five millimetres in diameter and is screwed onto the spar with a 5mm diameter self tapper (supplied).
Please take a look at the photos which show how the cleat works. The spar’s diameter needs to be about 2 inches, there’s a protrusion/turret on the cleat that fits into the spar, again look at the pictures for a visual explanation.
