Technical Notes

  • Features improved oil passages and a needle bearing thrust washer. Designed to outperform original compensators. Original equipment on 2014-2017 Dyna Softail and 2014-2016 Touring models. Kit includes the following: Shaft Extension Sliding Cam Compensating Sprocket Thrust Washers Thrust Bearing Sprocket Retainer Torx Screw and Disc Spring Set. NOTE: Some models may require the use of (2) 0.031 inch thick rear washer shims which must be ordered separately. A new primary cover gasket must be ordered separately for the proper installation of this kit.
  • Required to use with #32-0870 Volt Tech Alternator Rotor for 2006-11 FXD 2007-11 Softail and 2007-10 FLT models..
  • Required to use with #32-0868 Volt Tech Alternator Stator Unmolded 50 Amp 3 phase for 2006 FXD models.
  • Required to use with #12-0001 Rear Washer Shim 2 needed.
