This book is in good condition; cover is lightly scuffed on both front and back, light wear along the edges and corners, and along the spine.  Lightly bumped corners.  Binding still tight.  

The pages are very clean, lightly toned, but rough cut. 

Measures approx.  6.5 ” x  10”.

This is a complete copy with several plates, photographs and illustrations.

The Contents begins with the Introductory – The Boston of 1872 (from page 3-30), and then The Outbreak of the Great Fire (on pg. 31).  The LETTERS start on page 57-136. The Appendix runs from page 139-161.  

The variety of illustrations show pictures of places in Boston, with some before the fire, others are during and afterwards.
