Synopsis
The Blue Wolves of Mibu is set in 1863 during the final years of the shogunate. The story follows Nio, an orphan who dreams of a just world, as he joins the ranks of the Miburo, a group of feared ronin who would later be known as the Shinsengumi. In Volume 1, Nio crosses paths with legendary figures like Toshizou Hijikata and Souji Okita, and embarks on a journey filled with battles and betrayals. Tsuyoshi Yasuda captures the political tension of the era while showcasing Nio's personal growth.
