This housing uses the original filter and seal so no special modifications or tools are needed, just simply swap the filter housing.

The standard housing is very weak and cracks easily when overtightened or from heat cycles causing leaks.

To top it off this housing has fins which increase overall surface area therefore help keep your DSG oil cooler!

Please use genuine filters and seals only, and torque to manufactures specification otherwise damage can occur to the housing or gearbox casing.  Professional installation recommended only.

OUR UNIT IS FOR DQ500/381 0BH 0GC OBT 7 SPEED WET CLUTCH DSG ONLY! It will NOT fit other DSG gearboxes, if your DSG is 7 speed and has the plastic filter with the tin cover shield as shown in the photos then it WILL work.  IT WILL NOT FIT MANUAL OR DQ200 7 SPEED DRY CLUTCH.
