Oil, canvas on board, 16X20 My name is Victoria Yermakova, I am an artist from Ukraine. I recently moved to the USA. I practice tai chi and qigong, and I wanted to portray a teacher - a master. I came up with the idea that this teacher would be a mystical, wise black cat, whose gaze represents both strength and inner peace. I also added a halo to signify that the master has achieved enlightenment.
