The CA-XLR2d provides a compact and flexible video and audio recording system for recording interviews and dialogues with a shotgun microphone, recording music and scenery with a stereo microphone, and recording various events with an audio mixer.

The “CA-XLR2d” is equipped with a high-performance discrete microphone preamplifier “HDDA” that was developed based on the expertise of a professional audio equipment brand. The HDDA provides high-quality recording that meets the demands of professionals.

Input terminals and mechanical design enable a variety of microphone connections

In addition to two XLR/TRS combo input jacks (switchable mic/line level, +48V phantom power supply compatible), one 3.5mm stereo mini input jack is provided. It also supports the connection of plug-in power-compatible microphones and wireless microphone receivers.

In addition, a microphone holder with a shock-mount mechanism (removable from the main unit) and a cold shoe located on the top surface enable a variety of microphone connections.

User-friendly operation panel and control functions for high-quality recording

The “CA-XLR2d” is equipped with a wealth of control functions, including auto level, low-cut filter, limiter, attenuator, and stereo link, which can be intuitively set using independent switch operations. It is also equipped with a clear cover to prevent accidental operation.

Direct monitoring with headphones

Headphone mode is provided on the analog output terminal. Direct monitoring without delay is possible.

Upgrades video sound from conventional digital cameras

By attaching the included battery box (using 2 AA batteries) and cold shoe mount adapter, and connecting the analog output of the “CA-XLR2d” to the camera's microphone input with a stereo mini cable, analog audio transmission to a camera is possible. Not only the confirmed models, but also conventional cameras can be upgraded for audio recording.
