Q4 Mosfet included (actual size of original Q4 on pcb) This is a common problem on S8T262 model this part can fail and will need replacing otherwise your new heater element will crack if the Q4 is not replaced along with new heater element.

If your Q4 has not failed and some of your heater elements have just got a broken wire/s then you will just need to replace your heater element with this heater element with attached 229° thermal fuse soldered onto heater element with high temperature solder.

PLEASE NOTE: Fitting the Q4 will require excellent soldering skills due to size of part so should be carried out by a qualified professionals.

IMPORTANT: Always check temperature of both plates with a infrared thermometer to ensure plates are at correct temperature before using straighteners.
