Torx Drive Bit - Hexalobular 6-point star drive

Torx drive buts are also known as star drive bits. It's a type of driver bit that is designed to fit into screws with a star-shaped recess. hexalobular 6-point star-shaped pattern screws are commonly used for a wide range of applications, including automotive, construction, and electronics. 

The drive is characterised by a 6-point star-shaped pattern, Jacbolts supply them in 3 sizes - T15, T20, and T25. The size of the bit required will depend on the size of the screw head that needs to be removed or tightened.

The six lobe hexalobular internal bits themselves are made from high-strength hardened steel, the properties of the steel provide superb durability and resistance to wear. Torx Head driver bits are regularly used in power-screwdrivers and manual screwdrivers to tighten or loosen screws without slippage.
