You are buying a vintage Soviet military side cap that can be folded flat when not being worn. It is also known as a pilotka cap, garrison cap, flight cap, wedge cap, or field service cap, or in vulgar slang as a cunt cap or piss cutter. This cap has Soviet markings and is dated 1976.
