Winsor & Newton Artists' Picture Cleaner

Artists' Picture Cleaner from Winsor & Newton is made for removing surface dirt and grime from finished oil paintings. It is designed for small areas and controlled cleaning. Shake well before and during use. Apply to a small area at a time using cotton wool pads. After cleaning, remove any remaining cleaner with distilled turpentine. Batch colour and natural settlement may vary. Important: Old varnish removal should only be carried out by a trained picture restorer. Unvarnished paintings can be treated with Artists' Picture Cleaner, but great care is needed. Stop immediately if any colour lifts from the surface.
