＜XLS DriveCore 2 Series

This next-generation model inherits the functions of the well-established XLS series. The DSP processing capability and operability have been improved, including the external appearance. All models are designed to be lightweight, weighing less than 5 kg, to reduce the burden of transportation and installation.

■DriveCore enables weight reduction without compromising sound quality

DriveCore” is a custom IC that integrates high-precision clock, modulation, error amplification, feedback, and other functions that form the heart of an amplification circuit into a single chip. The number of parts has been reduced to the utmost limit without compromising power or sound quality.

The power supply uses a lightweight, high-efficiency switching power supply.

All models weigh less than 5 kg, making them highly portable.

■Output power beyond class

Class-D operation efficiently drives even heavily loaded subwoofers.

Equipped with a Peakx limiter to maximize output performance while protecting the speaker.

■Powerful DSP with filter settings

PureBand crossover system with 24dB/oct Linkwitz-Riley filters allows any crossover point to be set in 1/12oct increments from 30Hz to 3kHz.

The filter type can be selected from unfiltered, low-pass, high-pass, and band-pass.

■Flexible Inputs and Outputs

Three types of input terminals are provided: XLR, standard phone, and RCA. Input sensitivity can be selected from 1.4V and 0.775V.

The output terminals are equipped with a Speakon and binding post.

■Balanced selection of necessary functions

A backlit LCD display is provided on the front panel. It can be turned on or off by setting, including LEDs for indicators. A lock function that prohibits operation of the front panel is also available.

A status signal is output from the rear panel to confirm normal operation from a remote location.

The unit can be set to sleep mode with an external contact to reduce power consumption.

Equipped with an air-cooling fan to efficiently cool the inside of the main unit.

■Expanded size LCD display

The size of the LCD display is larger than that of the previous model. The menu structure has also been reviewed and operability has been greatly improved.

AUX terminal

The left pin can be used for sleep mode to reduce power consumption by an external contact.

The right pin outputs a status signal to confirm normal operation from a distance.
