I will be doing a whole new set of photos soon for this listing as soon as possible.
As of 1/14/26 silver has passed $90 an ounce. I have to adjust my price once again... Keep in mind this is for a true custom ring into the plus sizes too, try finding a ring larger than size 13 in a store or jewelry shop... Try having a custom made size 20 for under $200... Yet here I am, welcoming all ridiculous ring sizes for one price. These price increases are not making me richer, they are only maintaining the profit margin I need to stay alive making these rings. A lot of my competitors are well into the $200 and $300 range at this time.
For those who are being priced out of the market that want one of these GENUINE rings but have to pinch pennies, you can check my bargain coin ring section; the ones with slight imperfections I am able to sell much cheaper.
-The rings in THIS listing, are 100% made by me; from GENUINE .900 Fine Morgan Silver Dollars, to your specifications at the time of your order. Yes, you can find cheaper silver dollar rings elsewhere, but they generally are not even real. Real silver dollar rings will NOT discolor your skin and turn it colors, but Chinese knockoffs will, so buyer beware. I have had to raise my prices, the going average price for genuine silver dollar rings is $150 right now. I am trying to split the difference between my old price and the going average, due to the rapid rise in prices of coins and the declining availability of ones suitable for making into rings. ANY similar rings you see priced closer to $40, are going to be white brass, steel, cupronickel, or potmetal replicas. I am sorry folks, but this is the honest truth. It takes around 1 to 2 hours to turn a $35 coin into a $100 ring. Tedious adjustments of the tools before working the coin, constant annealing of the silver during working it, having to stretch and reduce it several times to get it to a proper shape.. And the mirror finish and clearcoat takes even longer. I will ALWAYS guarantee MY rings to be 100% genuine morgan dollars, made ESPECIALLY for you, by me. This is unconditional and non-negotiable. I don't cut corners. I don't flip imitations like so many others are making big money doing. It is your choice, but I choose to provide only heirloom quality statement pieces at a price point still below actual retail based on what those with brick and mortar stores would have to charge for similar work as I do.
-These rings from now on, will be stamped on the inside "handmade" and "USA". This will be done during the shaping process, in order to set these apart from the hoards of knockoffs; to assure you and those who you may pass it down to, that its the real deal; since these are handmade by me, here in the USA. I will make sure to place the markings where it will not detract much from the details on the inside of the ring.
Now for the specifics.
When you order, I will need to know the following:
-SIZE (Between 10 and 20, you can specify down to the quarter or half sizes. I CAN do 9.5, I've refined my technique to have it come out well thanks to a repeat customer hoping I could do it.)
-HEADS or TAILS on the outside.
-MIRROR FINISH, or SATIN/BRUSHED FINISH
-CLEARCOATED or NO CLEARCOAT (Clearcoating is fairly durable and will preserve the look of your ring through daily use. Without clearcoating, the rings appearance will change over time as silver normally does through daily wear.)
-Whether or not you need signature confirmation; (if you have a problem with porch pirates, just let me know, I will gladly throw in signature confirmation for no additional charge to make sure you receive your shipment)
-It is apparently necessary to state that there is a slight taper to these rings due to having to punch a hole in the center of the coin which forms the second opening when I shape the coin into a ring, and there is less mass of metal towards the center of a coin. This taper generally isn't a concern for comfort or wearability if you put the widest part of the ring on first. But for those who are adamant about having a comfort fit style ring, or a ring reeded on both sides so as to appear uniform and symmetrical, I understand this desire but am not currently tooled to offer these options. I hope to in the near future.
I will be providing new photos soon. I've upgraded some of the components of my polishing process which has resulted in a much richer mirror finish; and I've also re-figured some of the parameters for forming my rings in the smaller sizes; the result is I've again been able to create a more conventional shape for rings down to 9.5.
I will now accept orders from this listing for sizes up to US size 20. I've done a couple before, they turned out extremely well, but they are a great deal more work at those larger sizes, and normally I charge extra, but since I didn't set up variations on this listing.. Consider it a thank you gift or something.
Please allow 24 to 48 hours for your order to actually be completed and handed off to the postal service for shipment; I actually do have to make the ring after you've ordered it; but that's a good thing right? Knowing that your ring was made specifically for you? In some cases, depending on the clearcoating and mirror finishes, if the ring doesnt look right, or the coating didn't cure properly, it may take another day or two to finally ship, but I'd rather it ship out properly the first time, and in all these cases, my customers received the rings within the delivery estimate.
So, lets go over my guarantees again: I 100% guarantee these rings are genuine, made from genuine 900 fine silver US dollars, and did not come from Wish or Temu. I 100% guarantee these were made by me by my own hands with hand tools, here in the USA, from Morgan Dollars sourced in the USA. I ask that you know your actual ring size ahead of time so that when you order it, you receive a ring that fits.
I will do 1 ounce and half ounce bullion round rings to your order, just let me know what rounds you are wanting and ill order them in and make the listing available for you. The pricing shall be the same for those as these, and I will need the same information. Any other coins you would like made into a ring are doable, just let me know what you are looking for and I can source the coin and give you an estimate on what your price will be, and list the ring when it is ready for you to purchase. If a coin is sentimental to you, and you want it turned into a ring, I've done this in the past for other customers, as far away as Scotland, and all went wel
