Here's a neat piece of old California advertising memorabilia.
This souvenir from the 76 gas stations was given away as an advertising premium in the early 1940s and this one is a rare find from MT. WHITNEY.
Produced by ANGELUS TRANSFERS for the ANSON W. THOMPSON CO., this original vintage decal is in excellent condition for its age with light creasing and curving to the background card, corner bending and edgewear. The back has directions for application but due to its old age, it probably wouldn't survive. It measures 6 1/2" wide by 2 1/2" tall.
