These stubs have spent over a half century together and they will continue to do so. Dyche Stadium was renamed by the Big Boys 20 or so years ago. As we type this it is being demolished. Back in the 1960's the locker rooms had that Knute Rockne feel - very barren.   This was a very strange season for the Wildcats. Opening Day they upset the #8  University of Miami but would win only two more times. Leading up to the Iowa game  (they won 39 - 24 for their best game of 1967)  they lost to Ohio State 6 - 2 and Michigan  7 - 3.
