- With run out tolerances .0023" lower than your typical imported chucks, tight tolerance cnc machining of chuck jaws and body, and a smooth operating scroll plate, the CS series chuck is a major improvement over other imported brands and each unit is meticulously inspected by a seasoned veteran of quality assurance with a minimum of 30 years experience manufacturing lathe chucks, experience manufacturing lathe chucks.
- CS series chuck body is made from cast steel. Chuck body is precision finished and have a high polish finished and ll bearing surfaces are carefully hardened
- Scroll plate is drop forged of fine alloy steel, and carefully case hardened. Thread flanks are ground on both sides. Precision grinding of the scroll plate and jaw teeth prevents deformation from heat treatment, allows for uniform gripping force on all jaw teeth, and maintains the accuracy for the entire clamping range over longer lifetime
- Three pinion design with each pinion ground and hardened
- Both side of jaw teeth and guide are fully ground and hardened to HRC 58-62.
- A serialized set of jaws are then finished, ground, and lapped on their matched chuck body to achieve a greater accuracy
- Each set of jaw will be assembled to the designated chuck body undergoing tight tolerance grinding process to achieve exceptional accuracy above the industrial DIN standard accuracy specification
- Back side of chuck body has precision machined finished on both of the plain face of recess and shoulder contact area allowing it to mount with our FLD series back plate without any additional machining processes on the back plate
