This listing is for an original CARICATURE by Artist P.K. WATTERS

I acquired a collection of original drawings by Watters.  From the scope of work in the collection, it appeared that Watters produced drawings for some type of publication. The work was apparently done for an organization called THE APOSTOLIC PRESS ASSN. located at 702 East Twelfth, Kansas City 6., Mo.

Ms Watters addresses are on the back of some of the drawings.  She lived in Chicago and Waukesha Wisconsin.

In addition to famous, newsworthy individuals, a fair amount of work was focused on Religious figures. Most of the work is black and white with some newspaper cuttings used for accent.

I believe that most of the work in the collection was from the early 1950's

This drawing shows AN UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR, DIRECTOR OR PRODUCER from the Theatre industry.  The drawing did not have any markings or names indicating who this person was, however as can be seen in the drawing there the smiling and frowning masks symbolic of the theatre.

The drawing measures approximately  7" X 9 1/2" and is on cardboard.  On the back there are some handwritten measurements.

The condition is nice with some chipping of the cardboard along the rim
