This livestock tank heater features a unique, aluminum construction that's wider and larger than other units, featuring a finned, ridged design and multiple thermostats. All of this contributes to make the de-icer operate more efficiently: reducing overheating, preventing mineral buildup, and extending the overall operational life of the unit. The water trough deicer can handle tanks up to 60 gallons in capacity and, thanks to its cooler operational temperature, is safe for use on both metal and plastic containers. A 6-foot cord provides plenty of reach and features a no-chew metal sheath.
