Universal's "Earthquake" stars Charlton Heston, Ava Gardner, George Kennedy, Lorne Greene, Genevieve Bujold, and Richard Roundtree; co-stars Marjoe Gortner, Barry Sullivan, Lloyd Nolan and Victoria Principal. Produced and directed by Mark Robson, with Jennings Lang as executive producer, the large-scale theatrical motion picture about a temblor that devastates a great part of Los Angeles, was filmed in Technicolor and Panavision and introduced Sensurround (TM), a newly developed sound-and-sense system designed to give moviegoers the sensation of being in the epicenter of an actual earthquake.
