Each spoon has a really beautifully done double Gothic monogram, but I'm not sure what the letters are meant to be, perhaps a lower case a or a capital O bisected by a capitalized I.
On the bottom of the spoons each is stamped with the Whiting hallmarks, sterling Pat. 1875 and for the retailer N.W. Shaw & Bro.
