This Guy Wire Kit is the ideal solution to support a high or unsteady chimney/flue pipe or aerial CB mast. All parts made from rot proof galvanised steel, the kit contains enough parts to make THREE 10m long supporting wires.

Construction

The wire rope is constructed from 3mm diameter galvanised steel.

Installation

STEP 1.
Secure the GUY WIRE BRACKET (not supplied) to your chimney/Flue pipe or mast.

STEP 2.
Pass the 3mm Wire Rope through the Wire Rope Grip to create loop.

STEP 3.
Insert the Thimble inside the loop and tighten the Wire Rope Grip using the nuts until the Thimble is secure. Two rope grips should be used per loop for extra fixing.

STEP 4.
Unscrew the D-Shackle and pass through the loop.

STEP 5.
Attached the Barrel Strainer via the EYE by passing through the threaded bar component of the D-Shackle. 

STEP 6.
Secure the Hook and Eye Strainers to either bolts or screws that have been secured into masonry.

STEP 7.

Tension barrel strainers to suit.
