This is a used Carter 9636S Competition Series AFB carburetor with an electric choke.  It is a 600 or 625 CFM 4 four barrel manual choke carburetor.  It is very similar to the Edelbrock 1406 carburetor but the 9636 has the Mopar throttle linkage arm used on the Chrysler, Dodge and Plymouth AFB, AVS and Thermoquad original equipment carbs.  Also attached to the throttle linkage arm is the Chrysler linkage pin which I believe is used for Chrysler automatic transmissions.

These are often used on hot rods, rat rods, street machines, etc.  They can also be used as a replacement for Ford, Chevy, and Mopar original equipment applications that came with a Holley or Carter carb.

This Carter AFB is a rebuildable core that is complete and has no cracked or broken parts, and all moving parts move freely.  I don't know the history of this carb so I'm assuming that it will need to be rebuilt. I am selling it as-is, but I will guarantee it to be received as described and to be rebuildable.
