Premium knife sharpening stones outperform diamond, silicon carbide and aluminum oxide stones.
CBN whetstones for sharpening knives maintain their straightness longer, work faster, and are suitable for sharpening all types of steel.
CBN whetstones for sharpening knives can be used with or without oil.
CBN whetstones for sharpening knives will serve you for decades.
CBN Sharpening Stones consists of a 3 mm thick CBN-bearing plate mounted on a high-quality aluminum blank.
The CBN-bearing plate contains evenly distributed CBN grains with  bond.
I use CBN stones, the knife can be sharpened to a razor sharpness.

The stones need to be serviced once a year. Apply a little water and silicon carbide powder to the glass.
Place a stone on top and move it in various movements.
The CBN grains will come out of the bunch and the stone will be as good as new.

Comparing CBN and diamond grains, it is clear that CBN grains in the stone work softer, and do not cause unwanted scratches on the cutting edge during processing
This is due to the fact that CBN has an octahedron-shaped crystal structure - there are more cutting edges with less sharp angles -
this results in softness during processing and wider metal removal
Diamond has a crystal structure in the shape of a tetrahedron, in which there are fewer cutting edges and sharper corners of the crystal,
which leads to “aggressive” work of the diamond during finishing and further finishing.
