This alabaster mummy box of King Tutankhamun is one of King Tut's masterpieces. Inside the box, it is divided into four sections, each containing a cylindrical cavity covered with an elegantly carved lid in the shape of the king's head, and inside it are miniature burial cups for the king's internal organs. These coffins were placed vertically inside the cylindrical vessels, and almost attached to the bottom due to the hardening of the ointments they were poured into as part of the ritual
