The secret lies in POR-15®'s curing process. Most paints dry through evaporation, but POR-15® dries faster when moisture is present. It has the opposite chemistry of ordinary paints. Now add to that POR-15®'s incredible hardness, toughness, and flexibility and you have a coating that is practically indestructible. POR-15® is great for auto restoration, and protecting valuable equipment against rust and corrosion. You'll be amazed at the toughness!

POR-15 recommends after opening up a can, place the unused portion of the can to be stored in a plastic container. The cans from POR-15 are air tight and once opened, you will damage the lid and/or can. As soon as air enters into the can, it will cause the paint to cure, making reopening of the can with the lid difficult. After opening the paint, any paint on or around the edges of the lid will weld the can closed.
