Here is an account of the game shamelessly stolen from an excellent writer at UPI:
"The Los Angeles Lakers staved off a last ditch rally to defeat the Chicago Bulls 129-125 last night as Wilt Chamberlain, Jerry West, and Elgin Baylor combined for 97 points.
Chicago's Bob Love, who scored 19 points in the final period to bring the Bulls back from an 18 point deficit, made 10 baskets in a row. Chicago poured in 21 of 27 shots from the floor in the final period but still fell short.
Chamberlain, who has been shooting more this year, made 14 of 28 to lead all scorers with 37 points. West, still suffering from a cold, put in 36 while Baylor had 24.
A total of eight Bulls managed double figures with Jerry Sloan leading the way with 25. Love finished with 23, all in the second half.
Los Angeles had scored the first eight points of the second half after leading 60-53 al halftime. With 47 seconds left in the third quarter, the Lakers led 96-78 before Love brought the Bulls back."
Wilt would play two more games before suffering a knee injury that would sideline him for most of the season. I love the '69-'70 Lakers tickets with a photo of a member of the team on each one.
Please take a look at the scans for condition. I have been a long time ticket collector and will be posting many additional tickets in the coming weeks.
