Bottom compartment right 

This  is made from a Top quality Arahura INANGA CHATOYANT Jade Nephrite from New Zealand.

The stone is a beautiful blue grey green with CHATOYANT (cats eye like) inclusions making it unique with natural colour/light play variation.

The carving is sharp with well finished (with incisions indicating ribs/veins)and convex and concave areas next to each other. 

This carving is simple to look at but a lot of time is spent in finishing the incisions indicating ribs/veins!

This stone is from an old rock-hound's collection and has a really beautiful colour/light variation due to chatoyance.

The stone is hard and fine grained. Stone of this colour and with this Chatoyance is very sought after.

In studying the geology of the area and the pieces of stone strewn around I have reason to believe that this is from an exclusive deposit.

The carving shape is sharp and fine being very intricately carved in places. The surface has a fine satin to polish finish.
