1671 ECONOMICS 1ed Puglisi
ACCOUNTING Economica Mathematics Italian Palermo RARE
Onofrio Puglisi was a 17th-century Italian mathematician
known for two separate arithmetic treatises. The second, entitled “Practice of Numeral Economics”, proved
to be one of the best 17th-century Italian works on accounting. It
was also one of the earliest books of its kind. Prior to 1671, no Italian
authors had published works solely on accounting (Fanfani, p.426). A landmark work in the history of
Italian accounting!
