Hawaii is a tropical paradise, one of the world's three major coffee producing regions. Time flows slowly and the scenery is magnificent.
The "HAWAIIAN RIPE" we are introducing this time is based on the moderately ripe reddish burgundy color of the coffee beans grown in this majestic nature,
and expresses a unique color that is both austere and somewhat cute at the same time.
To realize this concept, we asked Mr. Akiyama (see bottom), a craftsman who has been engaged in the development and maintenance of coffee plantations in Hawaii for 23 years, to supervise the fountain pen.
This "Professional Gear" series retains the form of Sailor's representative series "Profit", but boasts its own unique beauty in styling and is a series that expresses originality through its particular decoration. It is familiarly known by the abbreviation "Pro Gear".

About Toru Akiyama...
He has been engaged in the development and maintenance of coffee plantations in Hawaii, known as one of the world's three largest coffee producing regions, for 23 years.
In recent years, he has perfected his original, flavorful blend, paying particular attention to everything from bean cultivation to roasting methods.
He left his company and returned to Japan to spread the flavor himself.
He opened a coffee shop called "Burgundy" on the first floor of a white building near the Star Lanes bowling alley, about an 18-minute walk from the south exit of Tachikawa Station on the JR Chuo Line.
